From Bikaner, Rajasthan: Gold forehead ornament (bhor), early 19th Century.
 
"Gold openwork moti jhali (headress, bhor set with basra pearls. the bhor is worn by married women, on the forehead, at the central hair parting; a pearl or gold chain is fixed into the hair to fasten the bhor. This example can be unscrewed to open, and a piece of cloth matching the color of the sari is placed inside. This openwork jhali is attributed to jhali craftsmen, who moved to West India, mainly Gujarat and Rajasthan, for economic reasons."
