Tuareg 2

I assume this (and the bracelet on the following picture) are a contemporary Tuareg pieces? Both are quite heavy (ca. 80 and 90grams) and made of metal alloy (perhaps containing a little silver). Can anyone tell me more about this style of bracelet, please?

  • the pattern is Tuareg, especially the middle part is typical.  But I cannot tell you from which Country this is. I am sure someone else can.  Very nice!

  • Beautiful cuff, design is gorgeous. I love the shiny colour and the type of design. That is a very nice piece Betty ,congratulations

  • Beautiful shaped cuffs, so elegant and the artistic engravings amazes me every time of the Tuareg jewelry.

  • Contemporary from Niger I'd say. Forum member Ait Ouakli would be the best person to comment on this, but like everyone here I too think it's a beautiful piece. I love the geometricity of Tuareg pieces - very modern, timeless in fact.

  • Thank you everyone. They are both lucky finds, no silver, but great workmanship and very solid.
