toda detail front

Very thick and large version of this granulated style bangle often described as Toda. I am not sure they were actually used by Toda but I know they are from the south and probably from Coimbatore region of Tamil Nadu. I have had many of these and this is the largest I have seen. I will post later the usual size with this one next to it for scale. x Vanderstraete collection
