Beautiful necklace, nice combination
Thank you Ait. It's one of my favorites. And the funny thing is, I realized a few days ago that Marie Ange is the person from whom I bought these spindle whorls way back in 2006 on ebay. I just discovered this site about a month ago and when I saw her name and what she posted, I wondered if this was the same person. I remembered her because of her interesting pieces on ebay and she remembered me because of my name. Now we have communicated directly through this site and things have come full circle.

Yes, it is a shame about the silver. I used to be able to find these Rajasthan beads made up into necklaces and bracelets on yarn for wholesale in a gallery in New York. I'd bring them home, take them apart and use them for my pieces. Sadly, the gallery closed last year.
