Late-Ottoman amulet-necklace & belt buckle. NW Anatolia / Turkey. Bursa Museum of Ethnography.

A double amulet-necklace ('muskalık') and a belt with buckle ('tokalı kemer'), presented on atraditional bridal costume (late-Ottoman urban style, ca. 1925-1950) from the Karakeçeli (Yörük) villages of the Keles district (south of Bursa).     The museum doesn't give dating nor geographical origin.  My appreciation: both pieces can be assigned to northwestern Anatolia, and probably date from ca. 1850-1900.
