  • Fantastic piece, Ingrid! You do not see these often. It's definitely an Eritrean piece I would say.

RasAida seems a good bet, but you are right might also be Tigre, Beni Amer, or maybe even Bilen. I once bought a tiny little dangle (such as the ones in your bib here) in Keren.

Very lovely... thanks a lot for sharing this piece with us, Ingrid.

  • Another surprise shown by you. Wonderful item. I have not stopped collecing Ethiopian pieces, but I had to buy a new camera  -  lots of my Money flows into this Hobby.

  • Dear Eva, good to see your visit and again your positive view. Healthy thing to be busy.Thank you it is my pleasure to show the nice sober good pieces of Ethiopia. Warm regards Ingrid.

  • Dear Ingrid. This is MAGNIFICENT and I love it! The different dangles are wonderful indeed. Congratulations. Peter

  • Dear Peter, Thank you for your enthusiastic reply. I was lucky to get these pieces into my collection in about 1995.  Not items which did reach the market of Addis Ababa often, because it was an isolated area, specially with the security situation. Gr. Ingrid
