The reverse of this comb/pin is slightly damaged from the replacement of the pins. What's interesting though is the cross shaped decoration with small circles, usually meant to ward off the evil eye (if I am not mistaken)
This is really Special! I have not realized that yours has this backside! Wonderful, really really Special. I have never seen this on any hairpins backside so far (I do not think that I have seen the reverse side o your hairpin before). Congratulations, this IS great!!!
Hi Betty, just saw this Tigrai hair decoration. What a surprise to see twice another cross hammered in at the back.
And the cross on the top for sure it was a Christian lady who owned this one. Haven't seen that before.
