From the Sahel coast (Sousse, Mahdia, Moknine areas). This example incorporates elements of various age and is backed with real silk. The silver ornaments sewn onto the band also sometimes appear on matching ceremonial dresses.

    Similar headbands can be seen on some of the ladies in my photos of the bridal party from Hamamet.
