Ethiopian Hairpins - A

I got a new Ethiopian hairpin today, it is the middle one, 12 cm Long, withouth the needles 7 cm, good silver, fantastic granulation, but with it`s length not practically wearable. (acquired from member Betty). I am so happy to have an Addition, and soon will get some more...... Ingrid said once, the ones worn by Christian ladies have a cross on top, so here they would be two Christian and two Muslim hairpins, if I am not wrong.

    Splendid Eva. As you say magnificent granulation. A great addition to your already rich collection..They look very rich and so African at the same time. Congratulations.

    The new Piece is really beautiful and I am quite happy with it - the more as These are not often to be found.
