Not really new, but I think not VERY old. I cleaned it with a toothbrush and silver cleaner before I took the photo..............

The style of the body with the large silver dome on top, reminds me of the earrings, head ornaments and pendants of the Eritrean (and Tigrayan) ladies, which nowadays are usually done in gold rather than silver.
