Beadwork necklaces. Nebiköy (Tokat) / Turkey.

Two ‘gerdanlık’ (choker necklaces, to be worn close to the neck). Part of the traditional festive woman’s costume from Nebiköy (15 km NE of Tokat city). Beadwork, mid-20th century, bought from the village in 1989. (Inv.n° bon012a & 012b - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
