South of Palestine bracelet

A silver bracelet made in Egypt but for the use of Bedouins in the south of Palestine/Sinai. It has motifs of a turtle or some say a scorpion. It is specifically worn by married women and a hole is pierced into the bracelet whenever she brings birth to a child. Usually worn in pairs.
