what a splendid selection! If one could only just choose a few......... and walk away....!
(joke, but they are all great!)
Gorgeous, for sale??
440 grams but for small wrists
i guess these are bracelets and not anklets
@ tribal heritage
well i have already posted this bracelet before, my best guess would have been somewhere in the middle east, saudi arabia or syria ( on most reference books) but pakistan would not be odd as an origin!!
any reference?
Thanx very much Tribal heritage
well i do see similarity very well, the fact is that everything suggests a south pakistani origin especially the hinge system wich cuts the bracelet into 1/3 vs 2/3 famous in the indian subconitnant opposite to 1/2 vs1/2 usually used in north africa and middle east! the embossing too is similar to asian patterns
But i cant refrain from thinking of a possible export item to the arabian peninsula which was very common at one time and still right now visible for example in dubai gold markets where almost everything is made in india or pakistan!!
