Salmancan reliquary

Reliquary of filigree and granulation that opens back and front , gilt ring and inner chamber. Size of pendant 5 " high. lt 18th c Similar to one seen in the Spanish American Museum NYC

  • Very fine example, expecially the reliquary!

    The beads i have got are extremely sturdy and heavy thus i feel they are quite early as well!!!

    I have noticed on pictures that women would wear sequential necklaces regarding sizes, but the smaller ones would have very small beads that are obviously made with very thin silver...possibly the newest ones....matter of fact those small one are very fragile!

  • I have other beads that might be from same area  that are smaller and much finer like the filigree of the other relics. I have had them saved and am using them for a necklace I'm making . When I get more of the same type.
