Pendant - Saudi Arabia

This is a very old and rather large pendant, which was most probably fastened on the head gear. The inside is filled with cotton, that has been fastened with strings. I did not and will not open it as it is rather fragile and I will not be able to arrange it back in the same way. However, I believe the cotton was soaked with perfume by the wearer. If this piece could tell its story....
