  Very interesting. Good on the back as well as the front. I could do without the teapots, myself - occasionally I think Uzbeki pieces have an "excessive" element that I don't warm to. A purely personal reaction, of course.

  I love the teapots ! they are a bit much but the whole piece is over the top!

  These are funny ones with alot of interesting details. I sold many odd ball ones in this vein but after selling so many and then finding them hard to come by I kept these. they pull out on the sides like a lid of a box attached with chains on each side.  I love the tea pots and think it makes them very cultural obviously.

  I have many uzbek pieces, but no teapot embellishment-- I will keep searching, however.

  I used to think we could well do without the teapots, but in retrospect I see them more affectionately as "fun".

  Hi, I think its' funny that the artist would incorporate something obviously so necissary to Central Asian life yet make them look as if they are dancing around. it is like giving a iron to a wife for her birthday... might as well make it as beautiful  a model as possible!
