Just two spaces left on this jewellery and adornment focussed trip. A Bead and Jewel tour to Marrakech and Tarroudant in beautiful Southern Morocco. Experience the magic and charm of this wonderful country. Staying in beautiful riads and enjoying an array of bead and jewel adventures. This 8 day trip explores the magical souks of Marrakech, the ancient Medina of Tarroudant and visits a rural bead making community where traditional beads have been made in much the same way for centuries. We will have privileged access to collections, and to bead making communities which are not generally on offer to the public. Itinerary: Monday 21st May Arrivals at Marrakech Airport . Private transfer to your beautiful Riad in the Medina. click here to see your riad This exquisite new location is super central, and has its own private Hammam!! A welcome evening feast with Gnawa Musicians. Tuesday 22nd May A day of Jewellery and bead shopping in Marrakech. We will visit wonderful shops of trusted dealers with exquisite collections of Berber and Tuareg Jewels, beads and fabrics. Evening Meal at a restaurant of your choice. Wednesday 23rd May A morning of Jewellery shopping in Marrakech We will have access to private stock rooms of the finest dealer in Marrakech! Transfer by road to Tarroudant, and your beautiful Riad in a lush garden. 5 Course evening meal by the pool! Thursday 24th May Visit a rural community just outside Tarroudant. This village is a traditional bead making centre. We will see bead production both faux Amber and silver. There will be a vast selection of beads and jewels on offer in the village. After Lunch we will head to Tarroudant to visit an array of wondrous jewellery shops and to experience the daily life of a traditional Moroccan town. 5 course meal at the riad in the evening. Friday 25th May A day of Guided shopping in Tarroudant. For those who may wish to see other aspects of the town such as the tanneries and the ancient walls a caleche tour is available. 5 course meal at the riad in the evening. Sat 26th May Following a leisurely breakfast and maybe a swim! We will take to road back to Marrakech where there will be free time to explore the souks or museums in the city, Maybe enjoy a Hammam or caleche ride. We can arrange an activity of your choice. Dinner at a restaurant in Guilez. Sunday 27th May A whole shop till you drop guided shopping day in Marrakech! An evening meal at your riad with Henna adornment for those who would like it! Sunday 28th May Transfer to Airport for departures. Extra nights can be arranged upon request. Cost per person £1250 15% discount for those wishing to share accomodations Included: transfers, accommodation, breakfast, tea and coffee at the riad. Transport between Marrakech and Tarroudant.
