Large Pouch with Kohl Container - Bersheeba-Palestine

This is a rare, rather large pouch from Bersheeba, accommodating a kohl container. Both sides are fully embroidered, featuring silk tassels and coins, coral- and glass beads, etc..

    lovely All these beautiful colors of the silk tassels ending with a bead.The whole crafting is so well thought out and executed.  A proud item of taste and skill.

    It is funny how little these change.. i have one given to me by my parents when i was 13. They purchased it in Israel. i still have it. 2463630052?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

    Yours is the first one i have seen in all these years except for the one i have. They had also purchased for me incredible headdresses but those i sold a few years ago. They purchased my pouch in the early 70's.
