Is African or indian ivory that came all the way to Tibet?

The ivory either came up through India or China? Not sure about it. Ivory is found in either place but not sure where the ivory came from in this case. The workmanship is Tibetan.

Thanks Linda. I suppose it in Indian elephant but that is always hard to be seen on a photo.
