  • What an intricate and well-balanced piece, Ingrid! What kind of stone is it - carnelian?

  • Yes Betty. Thank you for you enthusiasme again. GR. Ingrid

  • this scroll box is really fantastic!   Love it!   with the dangles and the chain it is just adorable. Also like the little  six round decoration pieces on top of the box, they are very cute!

  • Dear Eva Baby, Thank you.  It is a joy to hold this box, the weight of good silver, the refinement of its work, the dimensions and the additional outstanding patterns and to finish if off, the knitted chain. It is also one of my favorits. Gr. Ingrid.

  • Wonderful piece, Ingrid!

  • This is a wonderful piece Ingrid! I love the coin shaped drops too - I haven't seen this decoration before...is it a rarity?
  • Dear Charlotte, They are not coins, they are medaillons done as little round boxes and decorated, both sides.  And yes they are rare, to be seen only on top boxes. I have only two of these. Others are just with plain bells.  The decoration is not always the same. Like on this one you can see both sides, see the different decor. Gr. Ingrid

  • Some of the Argobba Wedding necklaces have similar round boxes, I believe, but they are not as wonderfully decorated... these are really special as is the complete piece. I could spend the whole day looking at it :)

  • You are right Betty, they could be on the center piece, but in a much smaller version.  I will place an Argobba/Wollo wedding necklace. You woke me up to it Gr. Ingrid.

  • Thank you Johanne. Gr. INGRID.
