  Nice en interesting additions Eva.  Are the two left ones worn into the braids,because they do look heavy so I imagine they need to be held in a strong bundle of hair. Gr. Ingrid.

  @thanks Ingrid. the two left ones are from Burkina Faso (ethnies Gurunsi and Mossi /Fulani), they are made of Alu and mixed metals only, therefore not heavy. I do not have a photo how they wear them, but in general African hair is braided. I assume it is worn on the top or backside of the head....... but am not sure. I will try to look for a Picture.

  Eva dear, it will be a good project to find accompanying pictures of how they are worn, I will be on the outlook for you about the Ethiopian ones.  Right now I am not near my books be will do so as soon as I am besides them. Gr. Ingrid.

  @Ingrid, thank you. I have already started searching, but it seems more difficult than I thought. Most Gurunsi ladies seem to wear a Cloth on their heads,so one cannot see any possible hairpins.
