Hi Mr Tribal Heritage,
I personally can understand the description provided by Lanajnaj as 'Tekke and Afghanistan' simultaneously. It's definitely a Turkoman piece, but the dealers/sellers I bought Turkoman pieces from in the past often say these were sourced from Afghanistan from the Turkoman tribes there.
As far as I know, at least Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan prohibit the export of antiques so that includes jewellery and are quite strict about it. So most Turkoman pieces coming available on the market would come from places where it's easier to 'smuggle' stuff out of the country. I imagine Afghanistan would fit that category quite well.
But ofcourse Lanajnaj will be better able to explain her description.
