Two middle-sized chest ornaments, generally used as (women's) vest or robe fasteners. From northwestern Anatolia, late-Ottoman style, ca. 1925-1950. Copper with silvery coating, and low-grade silver dangles. Width: 17cm & 18 cm. (Inv.n° müç032a&b - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
