Ornate silver Bazuband. These were worn on the upper arm attached with silk or wool cords. Their purpose is as a protective talisman, and they usually contained verses from the Quran. One cap where the amulet opens seems to be a replacement, although it has the same incised pattern as the other three caps. In fantastic condition ... hardly a ding.
