i m curious to know how this necklace will look with baltic amber or old coral
To me, it would not appear authentic with Baltic amber, because the sizes of most Baltic amber beads would not fit into the granulated silver beads, and this kind of bead snuggles within the rim of each of the silver beads. Again only Pacific coral comes in sizes that would hope to fit with the 'wheel' beads, and it is dyed a deep red, not the color of the old Mediterranean coral. The latter type could be strung on multiple strands, I suppose and designed in a pleasing pattern of perhaps 7 strands of normal-sized Mediterranean coral beads with the wheel beads spaced appropriately. I think I would still want a Yemen faqran amber bead on each side of the wheel bead.
What do you think? You are a terrific designer. If you have the material, make one for us and send us a photo. Speaking of photos, thank you for your very kind comment. I am just beginning to learn how to display beautiful pieces in a way that they deserve.
By the way, the white coral piece in the photo is from the Gulf of Aqaba. My husband found it on the beach. It is probably quite old and washed there from somewhere. It is obviously bleached by long exposure in the sun.

the baltic amber ( berstein, or possil resine) hope i m not wrong. through the color and less shinig, fits good to old silver .
there is beads in this form, expensive this last years.
@Ait Ouakli Thank you for telling me more about the Baltic amber. I did not know that it came in larger and less shiny pieces. I will search for that to see if I can find a photo of it.
