A silver necklace with two 'muskalık' (amulet-box). Late-Ottoman, rural, ca. end of 19th century.The geographical origin of the piece is uncertain. On exhibit in the Antalya Museum. (© Dick Osseman).

Dear Jean-Marie; This is a special necklace. Check out my postings. There is an Egyptian horse decoration in silver from 1930s. The center amulet on my unit is pretty much identical with the center half moon & star amulet in this necklace. With kind regards. Peter
