A carrying case for bullets. From NW Anatolia, late 18th century. Part of the outfit of a 'Zeybek' or 'Başıbozuk' (people's militia or mercenary). To be slit on a narrow waist band. Decorated silver plate, leather and textile; width: 12 cm. (Etnografisch Museum, Antwerpen).
