  Thank you Eva, I have to find that photo. I also have another pair similar to this but beautifully etched. They are with the photo. I had a very large robbery at work last year so hope they did not find this one. The robbers were after my contemporary Jewellery, sapphires, ruby, emerald, black diamond etc. It was a smash and grab with 4 or 5 robbers. They found most of that trashed everything else but I am still hopeful that I will find things like this. Everything was so badly thrown about with lots of people like forensics etc going through it all that I have been unable to find lots of things. As it is all gradually sorted I have high hopes that missing things will fall back into place.
  Otherwise I will just have to go back to Hang Bac street in Hanoi and see if I can get a copy of the photo. Love Hanoi.

  @Thank you Ann! How terrible about the robbery story, sorry this has happened to you. My daughter has been in Vietnam about a year ago, including Hanoi. Well, she liked it, but says, there was not much to buy ....... they are not prepared for foreigners to buy things. She brought me a comb, and a pair of earrings, but cheap ones, made of metal and grains, she said she could not find anything better... well, perhaps she did not know the right places. My daughters are half-Thai, so they look a bit like local people, except that they are taller.
