Miao Torques

Two similar heavy silver torques from the Miao people. Collected in 1984. Probably early to mid-20th century.

    Very clearly Miao neck ornaments, and fairly recent, though very traditional in concept and overall approach.

    I think that you would find that early 20th c are "softer" in look. Mid-century is much likelier.
