Wanted: dangles for Yemen pendant.

I have replaced the hirz of a Yemen necklace I showed previously by this pendant (found by Sarah). Does anyone know of suitable dangles for it please - either two that would suit or three matching ones?I feel longer dangles are more suitable than bells.

  • why not add some color with a couple of silver capped coral branches, if you have got some.

  • Great idea as far as the pendant alone is concerned, Ayis, but I feel they might overpower the rest of the necklace. It contains old quite pale banded agate trade beads and one bead which Sarah declares is a really old black and white suleiman agate bead.

Of course one doesn`t see the whole necklace in this photo in order to be able to judge. And my "new" camera has just run out of memory so I have to await the delivery of a memory card!

  • then let me propose what could have been the original pendants on this along with the drop shaped long ones. See pictures of the central bicone pendant on this necklace, probably triangle shaped ones!!

    What you think?

  • Hi Frankie, I could probably get you some matching Moroccan cones pendants.

  • Hi Hillary. I rather like Ayis`s idea  so I`ll see what I can do in that direction first. Many thanks for the kind offer.

Ayis, I do believe I know where I can lay my hands on something similar. Thanks a lot for the suggestion. That`s a gorgeous necklace you`ve shown, too!

  • Looks great there too...!
Thank you for the surprise package today...you lovely lady x x

  • Much better than the rather dull hirz that was there. Thanks so much, lass! I like how the circles from the oblong silver beads are echoed in it, too. The book just made me think of you, hope it entertains a little. xx

  • BTW, the agates on this necklace are terrific. Yemeni people love those agates.

  • i love them, too Patti. I heard somewhere they`re almost obligatory for wedding necklaces.

    Maybe it was from you?
