Turkoman dress detail

I must say that this looks like Uzbek embroidery, although, who knows, Turkoman may wear such dresses as well.

Hi Patti, Yes, I think that the embroidery is VERY Uzbek- looking; I've just never seen an Uzbek dress in this style before. The actual dress looks far more Turkoman. Textiles are not my strong point, so I'll happily take lead from others more knowledgeable.
