  • Thanx betty …took me a while to clean this piece ..it was pitch black…i had to be more aggressive …with baking soda and brush ...and though was no gilding at all …but …...

  • You did a great job cleaning it, Angelo. This piece really grows on you the longer you look at it. 

  • This is among my all-time favorite tumars.  I was watching it at auction and I am glad you got it.  Sometimes Turkoman pieces are too regimented and formulaic for me, but this one has soul in great abundance!  Angelo I am slowly going through all your photos since my return.  :)
