Magnificent! And thank you for sharing your store of knowledge. I was just writing about the use of tar resin in repairing broken gemstones, such as one of my etched carnelians from Iran.

Anna you are welcome. i share with you all what i can share. the tar was and still a surviving insurance in many situations
