But it wouldn't be that unlikely for the pendant to have taken a trip tio Africa in its youth finding its way back with a monsoon trader.
We've had Pakistani Pashtun pendants that Abdul found near the Khyber Pass and identical ones brought back from Ethiopia. So the ancient trade routes folowing the North Indian Ocean "Trade Winds" are still happening outside our limited world.
By the way I love the pieces you've got on here.

Yours is old red coral, black glass and camel bone discs with lovely old silver alloy beads all traditional. And worth quite a bit, too.
