splendid piece Hillary. congrats
very nice, love the pendant!
This is really beautiful!
Spectacular!
Such a nice example, Hillary, with best pendant on one that I`ve seen. They are still to be had out there though often mistitled. I recently acquired one which was described as "tibetian"!
Peter, I think that that one was on eBay, correct? If so, it is a lovely piece. I had just purchased this one above, when I found the other one listed as Berber or Yemeni.
Frankie, I believe that you have a very similar piece with the same "tumar" but in single style. I really love the granulation work.
You`re right of course, Hillary. But my tumar is neither double nor does it have those great tassle dangles. I love the fine granulation, too.
My recent "tibetian" one was an eBay buy as well. So such necklaces are not skulking in secret corners. I must say that I found the description of "tibetian" a little alarming as I hadn`t come across the word as an adjective meaning pertaining to Tibet. I`m wondering if it could be a french derivative.
