this crucifix is really interesting- any idea of age?
are the beads wood or something else?
The coins are from 1679 until 1700-so I guess it should from around 1750.The beads are wood and for
the crucifix they used wood from olive trees from palestine,typical for this time.I really love the little Madonna figure!
Nice to see, never seen here on Ethnic Jewels so far, the intarsia of the crucifix are they made of mother-of-pearl?

a tradition of very impressive ethnic jewelry as well!
