Small garment clasp, from northwestern Anatolia. Late-Ottoman, ca. 1925. The clasp is silver plated bronze with set glass paste stones; the chains and dangles are silver. They are fixed (sewed) to a bridal vest from Keles (near Bursa): see the close-up of the costume below. (Inv.n° müç113 - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
