  • Nice, thanx for the picture

Have you ever found those really big plated rings's Rihanas? i ma talking about the early stuff that you can see sometimes on old postacards worn by jewish ladies

  • Hi Ayis...A lot of new rihanas are still being made, and are still popular necklaces here in Tunis.   The latest trend is large rihana links with stamped patterns.  I have seen plenty of used or "vintage" examples of rihanas, but I'm not sure how you tell them apart from the truly antique examples.  Can you give me any pointers?  I haven't yet purchased a rihana.   If you are planning a trip to Tunis, I can direct you to a few dealers who may have what you are looking for.
  • Here what i meant by early rihannas

  • Nice old photo!  The largest rings on the rihana that I have seen are about (I'm guessing from memory) 5 or 6 cm dia...perhaps the ones in the old photo are a bit larger.  I don't think any of the ones I have seen are of great age, but there may be some floating around.  I will certainly keep my eyes open!
