Woman's belt, with a filigree buckle and 23 separate filigree elements, mounted on a velvet belt. Late-Ottoman, 1900-1925. From Antakya, made in a Christian (Syrian Orthodox) workshop. High grade silver, with traces of gold plating. Purchased in Antakya in 1987. (Inv.n° müç057 - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
