  I love this type of bracelets! This is the type with the biggest cones also the small coned ones are lovely.

  Hillary, they are hollow and often still filled with a kind of clay still left from the casting. I think they made the cones and the bracelet it self not in one time. But soldered the cones on at the end of the process of casting.

  @Hillary - I will try to make a picture of the inside of the cones tomorrow in daylight. @Harald - I believe that you are very right about the casting process and how the cones are probably fitted onto the body of the bracelet at a final stage.

  Thank you!  It's very good to see the inside of these.  I think that jewelry construction teaches us a lot.  I like that the lines can be seen inside.  This is rather unusual as normally cast items would be smoother inside.  Perhaps when the mold was made for this it was carefully hollowed and formed to allow for the perfect amount of silver to be used, so as to save on silver.

  I can also see where these cones could be fabricated by soldering rings on top of one another for the same effect.
