Bought in Nepal

I have a similar one in my photos, we get ours from Pakistan and I assume they are Pashtun.

But they come from Afghanistan I think, Pashtun tribes cover both sides of the border.

I bought it in Nepal, they said "Pakistan" but I was not sure. Good to know exactly
