  • I don't think this is chick-pea bracelet, they are relatively common and very easy to identify. This bracelet has lots of wear and appears to be quite old.

  • I agree with Patricia...however, the bracelet design is consistent with many old Tunisian bracelets I have seen.  It is a lovely piece.

  • I believe that Tunisian typically refer to this type of bracelet as "Hadida."  Some similar bracelets with this name appear in Paul Eudel's ca. 1905 book.  Cheers!
