Silver, turquoises, corals, TibetDescription:Lhasa noble women wore this type of "oversized" ear ornament with ends in the form of stylised lotus buds.Called "Akor", they hung at either side of the face hiding both ears and facing forwards to show the stones.Due to their considerable weight, they were attached with small hooks to the headdress...This type is found as a decoration on the sides of the tombs of the 11th, 12th and 13th Dalai Lama in the Potala Palace in Lhasa...definitively for collectors!Weight:2 x170grHeight:5,70inchWidth:2,08inchwww.halter-ethnic.com
