Ah - and excellent and useful illustration. I did know it was a "chatelaine" type of piece, but certainly had not seen this. Can you tell me from which book it comes? For we have an illustration in one of our books - but not of its being worn, I am quite sure.

Ah, good! I DO have that book - so will look it up there are once! Amazing: you have the piece and you have the book, and just don't think of connecting them! Thanks for encouraging me to do so. It's great to have that picture.
