Old Uzbek gilded silver tumar

Old Uzbek gilded silver tumar (with turquoise and blue glass stones). 10,5cm/4,1inch long.When it's opened; it's filled with a sort of red wax. It doesn't smell nice. It doesn't smell at all.. I think it's used to make the tumar heavier.
