Last Sunday's finds at a flea market in Paris. Special thanks to Alaa Sagid for graciously letting me pluck that stunning Tanit right out of his hands.

Very nice! I checked our fleamarket here in Zurich, it only opens in May - what a pity !

I was under the impression that the nosering on the top right was Indian, but came across a similar one attributed to Uzbekistan.

Paris is full of surprises and sometimes it is like opening a treasure throve.

YOu are probably right about the nose ring, the coral beads and the wheel spacer has more to do with central asia than with the subcontinent

Great engraving on the Tanit pendant.

I see the artmuseum site says that nosering is karakalpak. Easier to identify due to the piece on it at about 10 o`clock. But I`d say yours is from the same area, Preethi.

Lucky both of you to be in Paris at this time!

Here is a lovely young Karakalpak lady wearing a similar nosering.
