  • It seems to me as rather vintage or even newer. Old ones have distinctive bails. Also back of older pieces do often have iron or non precious metal.

    I may be wrong but if it is the case then it is among of the very best new work from the tuareg
  • Hello Alaa ..you might be right …. i liked the craftsmanship and feels  very used and smooth at touch  …and the back looks same material of the front 

    do you knoww what the inscription says in the back ?? signature of the maker ???

  • Sometimes it is the maker and sometimes the name of the commissioner...but i would say the maker though. Searching a tifinagh alphabet table with corresponding latin letters can help you read it ( google it)
