Again Lynn, I do recognize the parts on this necklace as part of a Muria (wedding necklace ) worn as a choaker in Ethiopia and Yemen. The red beads looks to be me not of glass but of corral powder (reconstituted into beads, I think done in India. Beautiful silver work again and lovely pattina. Originally where the red and silver beads are should have been completely with the silver sticks.
But I do like the necklace as it is and a new life has been given to the beautiful parts. Enjoy!
Ingrid, thanks so much for your comment. I did not know that the beads were of coral powder so I am very happy to learn something new!
