This is a photo of the reverse side of this necklace. Quite unique....
Beautiful and in wonderful condition too. I have not seen decorated reverse side before. The detail on the chain is very lovely - are they beads or links in between?
Dear Charlotte; Many thanks for your message. The chains are links. You can see pretty much the same design as well on Armenian and other countries jewelry... Amazing, how designs are travelling... I will post a kohl container, which has similar chains... With kind regards. Peter
Peter, what a stunner again. perfect in all aspects. The box itself, the pendants, so richly done and to top it off the chain so extra ordinary. And in top condition. You know how to find them, Gr. Ingrid.
A stunner it is indeed, Peter!
I love the crescent dangles, the flowery central ornament and the lovely bauble that dangles from the closure: such wonderful details...
This type of chain (or part of chain) with the links is quite common all over the Caucasus region and I believe I have also seem on pieces from the Levant, but I am not sure. Kind regards, Betty
