I am stumped at its origin and would appreciate help identifying where it's from. Could the symbol by Tuareg?

the use of the hallmark to stamp the entire surface of the bracelet as well as the polylobed (French polylobé) edges at the opening are common features foud on anklets from the high plateau in eastern morocco and the saharan atlas of algeria

BUT these anklets do often come in rather thick silver (different grades) opposite to yours which seems to be waaay thinner!

I think that this may be Central Asian, I have a similar one that is a replica made in Soviet times as it has all of the Soviet hallmarks.

I think this looks Central Asian, possibly Kazak. That would be my first impression.
